Dramz stared thoughtfully at the water that flowed along beside him, wondering, just a little bit, what it would feel like to run splashing through it. Not that he would reveal those thoughts to anybody around. He cast a look over his shoulder to his border patrol companion. "Do you think the water is nice?"

Namu looked towards Dramz. "Why not? We all deserve a good run sometimes." He ran through the water, splashing as if he were a young pup.

Dramz paused for a moment, wondering why "why not" was the response to "is the water nice", but let it go. He was probably just becoming more and more transparent to the wolves around him who glanced beyond his icy or wildly odd exterior. With a mental sigh and a big grin, he said, "Sure, what the heck? Nothing like negligence on duty to lighten the mood!"
With that, he followed into the water, realizing that it was quite pleasant. It almost reminded him of his spring back home by the waterfall that was so much better, but he was probably just biased. He thought everything back home was the best, even the dirt and biting flies.
"Days like this, I wish I could play Silver Claw like I did back when Soulsaver reached my knees now!" What could he say, he was starting to open up more to his fellow wolves in Chaos Rheins. It was almost okay to act like himself, as long as it was only with a few others.

"I used to play "tag", and "who can catch the first mouse". But now it's all alpha business... Glad I can get out and just relax a little." Namu sunk deeper into the water, enjoying it. It wasn't a very hot day, but the water was still relaxing.

"Tag, huh? I was banned from playing tag when I was a literal ankle biter! So I accidentally kept knocking my playmates off the cliffs. Big deal." He gave his most wild, evil grin. It was a little scary, but if you paid attention you could see that his eyes were lit with big, glowing smiles.
"Were you a handful when you were a little brat- I mean pup? If I may ask," he added politely, remembering that he was talking to an Alpha. He should put in at least a little effort towards being polite to Namu, even if he treated Soulsaver like a plaything.

Dramz rolled onto his back for a moment, enjoying the feel of the muddy bank that was probably coloring him brown. He was a filthy beast, he mused to himself, noting that he had to tell that one to all of his close friends as soon as possible.
"Really? You know what? We should compare and see which of us was the evilest little runt, if my terminology does not offend. If you want to play, you can have the honor of going first."

Namu growled happily and lunged after Dramz, racing past him. "Catch me if you can!" He ran through the forest, dodging trees and splashing through puddles, then taking many short cuts to get to his destination.

Dramz was shocked for a split second before giving a laughing whine of, "Not what I meant at all!" before rushing off in pursuit. He had no chance of winning; he was so not alpha beating-material, even if Soulsaver constantly lost in their secret play-fights and training. (Probably out of pity.)
Putting on a spurt of speed, he got within calling distance of Namu, still trailing well behind as he wasted oxygen shouting.
"I once dragged a patch of thorny briars into my brother's corner of the den and hid them in his bedding moss because he called me a weak, ugly jerk that nobody would ever love! He was picking them out of his fur for weeks!"
